Since I couldn't comment on the post, I'm desperate to share with you that your recent guest post "My Body Makes All The Decisions Now" deeply moved me. I raised eyebrows at your 17 year old fibromyalgia diagnosis (my recent life moment), smirked at the Ohio upbringing that led you to the PNW (me as well), and delighted at your ability to connect with others in faith. It felt like I read a very small memoir and I would read more! Thank you for your writing.
*Thank you* so much for taking the time to leave this comment and connect. I've been sitting with the messy journey of all this, sensing there's a larger story in there to tell. So far, it's taking the form of a poetry memoir. We'll see! Your kind words are timely and helpful in my discernment. Sending love as you navigate the exhausting complexities of life. Glad to journey together a bit.
Jenny this poem, and each of the poems you linked, are such a balm of compassion. I’m do glad I found you via D.L.’s newsletter. I look forward your writing landing in my inbox.
