i’m jealous of the rain
that falls so freely
unbothered by anyone’s opinionsi wish my tears
had that kind of
confidence

I don’t think the church wants you to know this: A poem on the church getting out of its own way
Beginning again: A poem on leaves + secrets
When we can't unsee what we saw: A conversation between Fear and our Spark
Palms Up Path
The Palms Up Path is a self-paced virtual on demand course that guides you to befriend your fear, question the stories you’ve been handed and deepen trust in yourself and the love that supports you. You’ll learn how to hold your life in a way that creates spaciousness and freedom. Designed by a writing pastor who journeyed deep into high-functioning anxiety and panic attacks, this course is for the anxious and exhausted among us who are in search of a better way to live.
Sending all the love your way, my dear reader!
Grace,
Jenny
Since I couldn't comment on the post, I'm desperate to share with you that your recent guest post "My Body Makes All The Decisions Now" deeply moved me. I raised eyebrows at your 17 year old fibromyalgia diagnosis (my recent life moment), smirked at the Ohio upbringing that led you to the PNW (me as well), and delighted at your ability to connect with others in faith. It felt like I read a very small memoir and I would read more! Thank you for your writing.

Jenny this poem, and each of the poems you linked, are such a balm of compassion. I’m do glad I found you via D.L.’s newsletter. I look forward your writing landing in my inbox.
