If she signals otherwise, then I have some adjustments to make. Some will call this a privileged luxury and they’re probably right. But the alternative was four decades of dragging around a body full of chaos while simultaneously rarely listening to it.
Yes, to good boundaries and freedom to be a creative loving human appreciated and supported by the community one desires to serve. It sounds easy but it's incredibly complicated in community. Perhaps we are on parallel paths. I’ve been following you for about a year now and your story and your insights have encouraged and helped me so much. The word “unraveling” sticks out to me because this process is something I had to reflect on as I deconstructed and maybe self-destructed from conversion therapy on top of the AuDHD process and loss of a loved one (my dad, week after dropping my lil brother off at college) during COVID.
