I know the disaffiliation process for the United Methodist Church is painful and creates grief for folks. I hope and pray that those who remain take this opportunity to re-imagine how the Church can be a force for healing in a broken world. We need new wine-skins.
So well said. Some times the church feels so limiting. How did this happen? Perhaps the church has forgotten that we (people) are the body of our Lord and we are seeing a natural progression towards spiritual growth and healing in a new era?
