only remind me
you’re not here

the chapters
you’ll never know
stack up like
a kids tower
of precarious
blocks threatening
to tumble at
the slightest
breeze

you should be here
getting the updates
talking logistics
visiting and bonding
with our new chapter

sometimes i think
a new zip code
will make this hurt less
new streets
new people
